Academics and ASI
Rational Data’s standards for placing metrics and time elements provide an important way of qualifying some kinds of information. Another kind of qualification by licensing and use restrictions. An academic rating (see ASI standards) provides new standards for evaluating the value of information found through online searches.
The ASI system is broken into three general categories:
The ASI Rating for quality of contents
The Author's/Creator's rating for academic standards
The User/Traveler's rating of content for academic standards
Guides may also provide ratings of content as well. The standard development is currently in process.
